Employment History

1988 to 2001

Self-employed car driving instructor. Mainly teaching learner drivers, but doing more and more work in the latter years for Devon County Council, at the Devon Drivers Centre.

2001 to 2004

Stoford Transport in house driver trainer and recruitment manager. Stoford Transport ceased trading and as such I returned to self-employment.

2004 to 2011

Devon County Council Safe Driving Supervisor with a mix of self- employment and employment. This included delivering NDAC, SAC, Ride, Driver Safer For Longer, Minibus, Skid Car etc. Also I was involved in attending ANDISP meetings along with Martyn Gould and being involved in the adaptation of these national courses for delivery in Devon. 

2011 to 2015

Self employed funeral business director in Exeter.

2015 to present

Return to driver training as a self-employed grade A instructor. I am currently doing work on behalf of Devon County Council, Cardinus Risk Management, Admiral Young Drive, as well as freelance driver training.
