It is my belief that we know ourselves better than anyone else. Even though we can lose touch with our selves at times in our lives, we have the opportunity to reconnect with who we are and what we need through supported personal exploration. I work holistically with 'Body and Mind' and at the client’s pace in order to achieve this. My focus is on experience, both past and present, leading to awareness of what may have unconsciously developed. Awareness leads to choice and this can be a very empowering process. I have worked with clients with many diverse difficulties and struggles, these include; Domestic Abuse, Trauma, Anxiety, Illness, Disability, Depression, Bereavement, Loss, Low Self-Esteem, Assertiveness/Confidence, Abuse, Relationship difficulties, Bullying, Workplace difficulties, Change, Feeling stuck and unable to move forwards.

I am a BACP Registered and Accredited Counsellor and alongside my employment as a High Intensity Counsellor with the NHS, I am established in Private Practice in Weymouth, Dorset. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, daytime and evening sessions depending on availability.

My core model is Person-Centred and this underpins my Humanistic Integrative work. I draw upon different models of counselling in order to support my clients as fully as I can.

I have Professional Indemnity insurance cover, an Enhanced CRB clearance and regular, monthly supervision to adhere to the BACP code of ethics for safe and ethical practice.
